Phædrus Audio

Phædrus Audio is a boutique manufacturer of hand-build and custom, tube and discrete solid-state equipment inspired from British designs of the nineteen-sixties.

Current products include the modular, rack-mount London Series comprising: the PHAB tube microphone preamplifier; the PHILTER passive EQ and the SHUpHLER modules (all inspired by the famous REDD mixer used by The Beatles); and the PHAMULUS delta-mu tube compressor (inspired by the Altec 436). Also available is the accompanying PHUEL power-supply. All these products are also available as stand-alone appliances as well as in 19" rack-mount format. Being modular, the London Series may be built up into different configurations as required. For example a PHAB mic pre' followed by a PHAMULUS compressor. In addition we manufacture the unique, pure-tube-circuit PHI DI-Box. For the cost conscious, each of the London Series modules may be run from commercial, "wall-wart" power-supplies.
